I have so many band t-shirts. And t-shirts from restaurants, and locations (Maine), and events and even stores. There are sleep shirts and lounge shirts and shirts for public consumption, but the bulk of them are for working out. I’ve cut a V in the neck and they’re soft from wear and wash. And I think they should be conversation starters. How else are you supposed to make friends at the gym or in a workout class? That’s a thing you’re supposed to do, isn’t it? I’m generally the only person who wears merch to a gym class, but today I went for a designated workout tank and, what do you know, at least five people in my barre class were wearing t-shirts touting states, beaches and more. No bands, but it’s progress.
Things I felt strongly about this week:
In case you were wondering, I am not the new NYT restaurant critic
Ryan Cabrera revisited “On The Way Down” for its 20th anniversary with luminaries such as AJ McLean, Joey Fatone and Drake Bell, and I AM A FAN. We sang this in 5th grade chorus.
I didn’t read NYT Magazine this piece when it first came out because I figured it was actually just about trying to quit sugar, but it’s a hoot.
