Today on my four block walk from the subway to the office a man shouted “get a job” at me. Sorry that my work hours are not 9-5, sir. Last night a comedian/actor I like DMed me on Instagram and opened with “Sarah. Goddess. Hi.” I think he thinks I’m someone else because credible sources have confirmed he uses “goddess” in communication regularly. I wish these were the two weirdest things that happened this week, but, alas.
Things I’ve felt strongly about lately:
Death Becomes Her (musical version) is the best thing I’ve seen in a long time. It is so online but in a way that I think is accessible if you are not chronically plugged in. Megan Hilty is a (callback) goddess. Michelle Williams is giving Yzma. Jennifer Simard is just as good as she was in the underrated Once Upon A One More Time. You must see it. (Also, is DBH the original The Substance? Have you seen The Substance? I have not.)
Reminder that UnReal is one of the best first seasons of television period.

Curious about this app that removes the AI from iPhone photography.
The new Matlock is really fun!! It’s led by Jennie Snyder Urman who also led Jane the Virgin so you know it’s gonna have twists and turns and a Yael Grobglas cameo.

If you’re looking for a quick binge to cheer you up might I recommend The English Teacher (FX on Hulu), Digman (Andy Samburg as Nicholas Cage in National Treasure, Hulu) or High Potential (currently airing on ABC).
ALSO, if you need help with holiday gifts, please let me put my shopping problem to good use. Send me (or comment) a few things about the person and your price range and I will find you something!!
